The body and floors are solid with little sheetmetal rust and the glass is good. The van will run by injecting gas into the carb. It needs restoration or a mechanic to get it in condition to put back on the road. It will need to be TRAILERED and cannot drive it as is. Please read and understand what i have said. I have owned a factory right hand drive Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler and neither can compare to the Subie when it comes to sure-footedness. 4WD has nothing on the Subie´s everyday All Wheel Drive! Neither can the Jeep Cherokee nor the Jeep Wrangler compare to the Subie when it comes to fuel efficiency! The Subie probably gets better mileage on the route that Jeeps get on the open road!Like I said, the Subie has been used on rural routes and it does have some damage to the right front quarter panel, but this is not unusual on a mail delivery vehicle. Two really big scratches on the roof (see photo below). Thule roof rack. The only notable damage dings and scratches is some damage to the driver´s side door trim above the that the roof rack attaches to. The damage does not affect weather proofing (no leaks) nor the security of the roof rack. It is just pulled back about a half inch at one part.The Neutral: Interior is OK. Typical for the age of the car. No rips or tears. Sport fabric.Summary: A reliable well-maintained car with low mileage for its age, and the mid-life issues common to Subarus (head gaskets, timing belts) have just been replaced.
